More stories from the House of Waffles….
So I’m at my Tuesday morning Waffle House session (I mentor a 20 something) and I start to realize that I’m not just mentoring “shane” will call him. All of the wait staff and some other customers are listening in. Jessica 17, HS drop out and single mother is listening to me tell shane about wise choices. She chimes in the conversation and next thing you know she is evaluating some of her life choices. Then Jennifer chimes in on our “Tattoo” conversation. The cook gets in on that as well and it turns into a conversation about scripture, because I said If I got a “tat” I’d goe with scripture. Before you know it the whole house is in on the conversation. Moral of the story. Everyone is eves dropping so go ahead and invite them into the conversation. By the way….the other post on the waffle house talks about Josh and jasmine. They are now engaged and attending a church in Washington. Everyone at the Waffle House is happy…..
