What mountain?
So I was told that there are mountains in Pasadena, CA. After being in here for three days, I still did not believe that there were mountains. A couple days ago, walking back from Starbuck’s, I was greeted by “the mountains.”
You see L.A. has this enviromental scar called SMOG. I’m not sure what it means, but will go with “Smoke enhanced fog.” Smog is not natural, but it is a bi-product from our industrial waste, cars and stuff.
So, there I stood looking at this beautiful thing that God created, taking it all in, because the next day it may overlapped by SMOG.
Day one of the “Origins” Conference is complete. I learned that if we don’t value our natural spiritual elements, like the movement of the spirit “Wind” or creativity “Earth,” our industrial wasted lives will produce spiritual SMOG. A cloud of empathy and stagnation will keep people from seeing Jesus in our lives.
