Its amazing when you get to witness extraordinary talent. Tonight I got to back up my friend who is a kick butt fiddle player. Our church through a community block party and we were the “Big Time” headliners! Just being around great people with great talent makes you better. Tonight an average guitar player like myself sounded like a Bluegrass Allstar.
I think that we should be intentional about where we spend our time. If were looking to become more knowledgable, we should hang out with professors and teachers. If were looking to become wealthy, we should hang out with investors and business gurus. If were looking to become more holy we should hang out with people who have proven their integrity…
I think that tonight, my friend Mark carried my weakness with his greatness. If only everything was as simple as bluegrass…
